Tee Up Your Binoculars for an Annual Birding Event That Has Local Hobbyists Going Wild

Join us for the 31st Annual Hummerbird Celebration on September 19th through the 22nd in Rockport, Texas.

The HummerBird Celebration is an annual event held each September in the charming and friendly coastal towns of Rockport and Fulton. The purpose is to celebrate the spectacular fall migration of the Ruby-throated hummingbird through the area, first documented by Connie Hagar in 1938, and to expand one's knowledge of all birds, and associated wildlife.

This year we are back and better than ever, featuring over 75 vendors, more than 12 speakers, and a variety of nature-inspired field trips on land and sea. Hummerbird Celebration is fun, educational, and inspiring. It is designed for those who enjoy bird watching as well as those, who follow the migration patterns. If you enjoy nature, birds or some aspect of them, then this event is perfect for you.

In honor of our 31st anniversary, we will have a special reception and Texas BBQ in celebration. With that being said, we sincerely hope you enjoy yourself, as we celebrate the spectacular fall migration of the Ruby-throated hummingbird…and the fun nature of birding!

We know how important it is to participate in all of the latest and greatest activities that take place in our community—especially after a long week at the office. Luckily enough for you, adventure is always right around the corner at Summerstone Apartments in Victoria, Texas!
